The College of Staten Island's LGBTQ Resource Center invites you to attend the 14th Annual Lavender Graduation!
This year's Lavender Graduation will be held in person on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 4:00 PM in the Campus Center (1C) - Green Dolphin Lounge on the first floor. Once your registration is received you will be emailed a confirmation.
Lavender Graduation honors LGBTQ+ graduates from the Class of 2025. Graduates completing any degree or program are welcome to be honored.
Guests from the campus and community are welcome to attend to help celebrate our graduates.
This year's keynote speaker will be announced.
The College hosts an annual Lavender Graduation. Lavender Graduation is a special graduation ceremony that honors the achievements of graduating lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer students at the College of Staten Island. We seek to recognize graduating
students. Lavender Graduation provides a safe space to honor those graduating students, not only for their scholastic achievements, but for their successes, challenges, obstacles, and achievements navigating their time at CSI as a member of the LGBTQ+ community.
We seek to recognize and honor students, not only for what they have done but for being who they are.
